The Author

About Tess.

Tess Noven is a pseudonym for the author of 6:01 A.M. and 10:01 PM, a literary project rooted in emotional realism, generational unraveling, and the quiet reassembly of self. Writing anonymously by design, Tess rejects the performance of visibility and instead offers presence through language alone.

Her work explores what happens in the spaces between functioning and feeling, between survival and truth-telling. She writes for people who look fine on paper but feel untethered inside. For the overthinkers. The quietly wise. The ones doing too much with too little regardless of race or class.

She chooses to remain anonymous not out of secrecy, but to remind readers that this voice could belong to any woman. Because it already does. Tess is not a persona to follow. She’s a mirror, a carrier of truths that were never meant to belong to one person alone.

She shares only what’s needed, filtered voice, no face, because the point isn’t who she is.

The point is that you remember who you are when the words land.

AUTHOR GUIDING PRINCIPLES

These are my personal anchors, ensuring integrity, equity, and authenticity at every step.

Anonymity with Purpose

My pen name is intentional: a boundary, not a mask. The stories matter more than the storyteller. This could be written by or about anyone you pass by today.

Truth That Evolves

Growth and change aren’t flaws. They’re signs of life. My work and business will adapt freely.

Redistribution & Community

Profit fuels equity. I’ll share success fairly, build genuine community, and never profit from another artist’s work.

Imperfect and Accountable

Perfection is not the goal- authenticity is. I commit to calling out distortion or misuse clearly and openly. Fair warning.
